Au Revoir, Paris
President Trump has pulled America from Paris, and we didn’t stay long enough for a plate of crepes. To Trump, it’s unfair that we should pay nations to keep hands out of the fossil fuel jar, that they face lighter stipulations. To Trump, it’s all insensitive and a modified framework will keep America great again. We’re beautiful and no one is borrowing our hair scrunchie.
And truly, we are all that.
Because America is Rick Grimes.
CO2-zombies are walking, blighting our fields and lifting our seas. America is heroic, to lead the world, to flex our gorgeous muscle definition as we stave that 2 degrees Celsius. We admit 18% of global GHG. We are the world’s largest economy.
It will take four years to fully back out, so our future president could step up. Cities and private industries, stay fast to your resolve. This is Rick Grimes’ wake up call.
