Feast of the Flowering Moon

Carved by Allen Conrad The Woodbutcher during Feast of the Flowering Moon, 2014.

This lovely carving sits in Yoctangee Park, Chillicothe, Ohio.

Its special origins are at the Feast of the Flowering Moon. In Chillicothe, the end of May is used to celebrate a sweet spirituality, that of gone Native Americans. This is inspired art, springing from a stump. What a soulful tortoise, a happy reminder that everything has been and can be beautiful.
